Music Performance, Musical Theatre encourages students to excel in their art form while developing the academic, technical and spiritual tools needed to serve missionally in and through a professional musical theatre career or professional ministry career combining music and theatre.”

Music Performance, Musical Theatre program seeks to:

  1. mentor the student artist through the process of developing a biblical worldview as applied to their specific art form;
  2. offer a quality educational experience in singing, acting and dance;
  3. provide performance and/or ministry opportunities that integrate the academic skills learned with a real-world context;
  4. instruct the student in the necessary skill set for managing the non-performance aspects of a professional career.

Career possibilities: musical theatre/theatre (actor, singer, dancer, production), professional singer, drama/theatre in ministry (local church, private school, missions/global)

Potential graduate programs: masters/doctorate in vocal performance, theatre, fine arts, and any seminary degree

Theater Talent

LBC’s drama organization, T.A.L.E.N.T. (Theater – Acting Language, Effective Nucleus Teams), exists for the purpose of connecting the LBC family and its community, and communicating truths about our world through drama.  Members of the various teams work together to present on-campus performances. 

TALENT stages classical to modern theatrical works, as well as, contributes to major Worship & Performing Arts department-led concerts and recital performances.
